Parisian quartet Bank Myna illustrates ‘Lighthouse’, from the band’s debut EP released in April 2016, with a dreamlike and symbolic short movie about a father-son relationship, shot by Antoine Toulliou and produced with the help of Les Films du Chat d’Oz.
Used to long formats, the band with aerial and contrasted songs offers a captivating visual variation of its title, ‘Lighthouse’.
The eight minutes that compose it, unveil a solemn and mysterious universe alternating peaceful atmospheric drones and oppressive climbs, conducive to meditation and introspective rêverie.
Thus, the short movie’s starting point is a child’s run away beneath his father’s very eyes.
